Within this clustered community dwells a gracious people whose love for their neighborhood and stranger alike surpass the limitations of their hardships. Yet, help is on the way.
Each year, Mission Discovery has made it their mission to provide over 100 newly constructed homes to ensure families have safety from nature’s elements. These brightly painted houses can be seen across the valley.
Ensenada, Mexico
Dipping past the southern border of California is the sought out coastline by surfers world-wide. With just a short drive inward, the oceanscape rolls into the Mexican desert where the community of Ensensada resides.

Kiev, Ukraine
Nestled within the forest-edge of the bustling city of Kiev, is an orphanage called The Ark. This hidden haven houses within a building from the 1800’s welcomes children seeking refuge from the streets, having been left to fend for themselves in the wake of parental addictions, wide-swept poverty, and the lingering effects of the Communist era. Yet, their youthful story doesn’t end there. Many of these children discovered the unconditional love with volunteers and go onto be clothed in the love of a forever family. Since the war in Ukraine, The Ark has relocated to protect the wellbeing of the children.
